HVS Asset Management - Newport has proprietary checklists for assessing the physical quality and service levels of all departments in a hotel or resort, then comparing them to AAA and Forbes rating standards.

HVS Asset Management - Newport then recommends the steps necessary to elevate the hotel to a higher and more consistent quality level and/or star/diamond. In turn, this new quality level can improves the property's reputation, increase guest recommendations, encourage repeat business, and most importantly, increase profit.

We then make recommendations for modifications to the operating department's policies and procedures, staffing guides, hiring and training processes, services, and quality of facilities and amenities that we feel will be instrumental in improving the hotel's Diamond (AAA) and star (Forbes) rating, if that is advisable.
